Bad News from the North

In North Seattle, the bad news just keeps piling up. Here's a recap.

At the Seal Motel on Aurora (a bit west of Lake City), a man was shot and killed by police officers after approaching them brandishing a knife.

Police arrested a man who recently robbed the US Bank inside the the North Seattle Aurora. He's associated with 3 robberies and there may be Federal charges.

On the 12000 block of Roosevelt, an intoxicated man was found attempting to kick in a door at 2:30 in the morning. Police responded to the call only to find the man inside the apartment. After some investigation, they determined the man had been breaking into his own home. The man was arrested - not for breaking into his own home, but for the pot, scales, and cash found in his home.

And even closer to home...2 men were arrested on Sunday night after attacking a man at the bus stop on 125th and Lake City Way. The 21 year old Bellevue man was hit on the back of the head and beat by a 21 year old and a group of teens after they heard him talking about a $50 Visa card he wanted to sell. Two of the attackers were arrested outside of Fred Meyer and the rest are still roaming the streets.

Bad news, bad news, and more bad news does not inspire me to blog. I'll try to find something to positive to post about soon.
