Read to me

With school closures and school budget cuts on the front page of the paper, it's easy give up on public education. But, here's a chance for to step up and make a difference to some children. United Way of King County is looking for volunteers to read to preschool children. Reading improves a child's vocabulary which has a significant correlation with their ability to succeed in the future and ultimately graduate.
