Seattle Pedestrian Master Plan

Last week Seattle released their Pedestrian Master Plan - a 60 million dollar project that hopes to increase Seattle's walkability. The good news is that they haven't forgotten Lake City! They plan to put in a crosswalk at 35th and 130th. I frequently cross this intersection and it can be a bit of a challenge to see around the buses parked along 35th. Spray paint at this intersection suggests that they are already taking action.

Check out this PI article and the SDOT website for more information. Now through June 15th the city is accepting feedback on the plan.

33rd Ave NE Vision Project Design
I saw a flyer at my apartment complex that referenced a pedestrian focused "green street" on the street by my apartment complex which is located at 12301-33rd Ave NE. I am very interested in what this project is, how it will affect my apartment complex, the parking area around the building and the costs.
I have left a voice mail message on Cheryl Klinker's phone 367-4635. You can either email me or sent things directly to me at 911 NW 165th Place, Shoreline, Wa 98177
thank you
