Design Alternatives for 33rd Avenue - Meetings on June 17 and June 23rd

There will be a meeting on June 17 and June 23 to present the three design alternatives proposed for 33rd Ave NE. Attached are the three design alternatives.

June 17 meeting info:

The general public is invited to view the

rd Ave NE Vision Project Design Alternatives

on June 17 from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm

at the Lake City Presbyterian Church, Fellowship Hall,  3841 NE 123rd Street in Lake City.

June 23 meeting info:

Lake City Business Owners and Managers are invited to view the

33

rd Ave NE Vision Project Design Alternatives

On Tuesday, June 23, 2009

7:30 a.m.  until 9:00 a.m. at the

Mennonite Church Community Room

3120 NE 125

th Street  (enter back parking lot from 33rd Ave NE)

The goal of the planning process is to transform 33rd Avenue NE into a pedestrian focused "Green Street".   Catergories that will be addressed include street improvements and pedestrian safety, parking, open space opportunities, and crossings.   Please contact Cheryl Klinker at 206-367-4635 if you have any questions.

I think you're thinking about 30 Ave. 33rd would be a poor detour for many, many reasons.
