AmazonFresh Now Delivering to You

Tired of making the trek the grocery store? Want to shop for groceries in the comfort of your own home? Now you can.

AmazonFresh recently added 98125 to the list. Orders over $75 include free delivery - otherwise it will cost you $5, unless you're a Big Radish. Same day orders are avaliable for many items.

I enjoy walking to the grocery store and wandering the aisle but this might be a good way to stock up bulk items.

Looking forward to trying this....
I regularly shop for groceries for my elderly dad with Safeway online.

In the last year or so, the quality of their service has somewhat declined. Often, items that should be available, are not (for some odd reason), or they will deliver the wrong items, or substitute items when specifically directed not to.

I have to say though, that it has been a lifesaver, in general, being able to order groceries online for him!! Much better than having to run to the store, and drop them off for him. I can't even get my own groceries bought half the time.

Amazon appears to have comparable delivery charges, if not slightly better. It also looks like their selection is better.

I have used the Online Safeway service...
This last September my husband was diagnosed with a Brain Tumor and 3 days later we were at Swedish having Brain Surgery. No time to think about anything other than will he survive. When I brought him home it was 24/7 by his side. No way could I have left for groceries. A friend ordered groceries for me instead of flowers and what a relief it was to have food delivered to my door on a day when I had no options of putting more food in the house. This is a great option! Send groceries to your friends home from the hospital instead of flowers that die. We got so much more out of that.
