Saturday September 26 members of the community will be gathering to celebrate the ground breaking of Hubbard Homestead in Northgate. The celebration includes the opportunity to create chalk art on the existing parking lot and eat some tasty snacks.
The vision for this 3.73 acre site began in 1993 and was recently purchased in 2006. The park is named in honor of Harry Hubbard who homesteaded in this area from 1913-1968.
