The New and Improved Magnuson Park

Stop by Magnuson Park this Saturday to see the new and improved wetlands and athletic fields. Get there by 9 am for the ribbon cutting and stick around for tours of the wetlands, scavenger hunts, and bird friendly gardening classes. The improvements to Magnuson Park were funded by $198.2 million Pro Parks Levy passed in 2000 and a $146 million Levy passed in 2008. Check out this flyer for more info.

Visitors should come prepared to explore the wetlands -- rain or shine. Please enter the park on NE 65th St off Sand Point Way NE. If at all possible, walk, ride a bike, carpool or take the bus # 30, 74, or 75. Warren G. Magnuson Park is located 7400 Sand Point Way NE. For more information please visit or contact Andy Sheffer, Project Manager at 684-7041 or andy.sheffer@seattle.gov
