Name your local park!

Seattle Parks & Rec is taking suggestions for naming a park right here in Lake City. (The old playground for Lake City elementary school, at 12312 – 26

th Ave. NE.) Criteria they consider in choosing a park name include: geographical location, historical or cultural significance, and natural or geological features. A park may be named for a person no longer living (deceased a minimum of three years) who made a significant contribution to parks and/or recreation.
