Lake City Live Birthday Party (No Cupcakes Allowed)

1 year - it's hard to believe that today November 25 marks the one year birthday of Lake City Live. Celebration is in order. You maybe asking yourself, "How can I celebrate this momentous occasion"?

We will be celebrating 1 year of LCL existence with the first ever blog meet up. Readers, friends, and contributors of LCL will be convening at Coopers on Sunday November 29 at 6pm. What better way to celebrate our neighborhood than by having a drink together.

The nature of a blog is that you don't often get to meet the people that read or contribute to the blog. So, here's your chance. Worried because you don't know anyone - don't be, neither do I. Come alone, bring a friend. Look for me and my beer sitting at a table playing jenga with my roommate (native).

Congrats and thanks for a great blog!
Though I'm a big fan of Jenga and Beer, my priority is with my toddler, which I don't think Coopers allows. Alas.

Thanks for working so hard on this blog, if I don't get to tell you myself.

Thanks for the encouragement. If you find a baby sitter, it'd be great to see you. Maybe next time we'll pick a kid friendly location.
