Take the Fred Meyer Park Survey- Deadline extended to Feb. 26

Option-A-Plan-300x164
Where are we now?
The results of the 2015 community input process for the green space owned by the Fred Meyer Corporation on 130th and Lake City Way have been compiled, and the key design concepts identified. Integrated Site Design (ISD), a local design firm, was hired by LCFF to create design recommendations for the site based on the survey feedback.
ISD has provided two wonderful visions that truly demonstrate the potential of the space.

8th Annual Union Bank Holidays at the Center was a Hit!

LAKE CITY COMMUNITY CENTER –  Neighbors gathered for cider, coffee and cookies…Guests were greeted by The Dickens Carolers…Pooky the Elf worked his magic for the little ones and the Ingraham High School Band played carols all evening.

Mayor Murray came by and counted down with Santa to light up the tree. What a fabulous night!

Flags for Lake City

Just before 9/11 a truck with Amercian flags was stolen at the Lake City Mini Park. The truck has been recovered, but the Lake City Lions are still short on flags to service all the businesses in the area who contract with the Lions to place flags on holidays.

If you or your business could sponsor flags for the Lions, they would appreciate it! They estimate the cost with a pole and eagle is $15/each. Please make checks payable to Lake City Lions Club. Mail to: 12531 28th Avenue NE, Seattle, WA 98125.

Thank you!
